Sensory TableA Child’s Reflection believes that the arts can help young children gain fundamental academic and social skills, making them more confident and overall better life-long learners.  We have many types of these programs built into our weekly lesson plans.

Spanish

On Monday and Wednesday mornings for thirty minutes, Ms. Jazmin teaches Spanish to all of our children from Toddler Two through Bridge.  The goal of our Spanish Program is to promote a good foundation of Spanish and help develop your child’s understanding of language concepts which will ease their ability to learn additional languages in the future. Some of our units include: animals, types of clothing, body parts, numbers, and colors.

Music

Every Wednesday, Ms. Amy teaches music to our children from the Toddler Two class through Bridge. This Kids Music program allows children to use many of their senses to experience and learn about music and how they relate to it. In the classes, your child will participate in many different music and movement activities such as vocal plays, singing a variety of folk and multi-cultural songs, listening activities, instrumental exploration, pretend play, and much more.

Yoga

Each Friday morning, Ms. Natalie brings Firefly Yoga to each of our Pre-School, Pre-Kindergarten, and Bridge classes.  Yoga improves children’s listening and relaxation skills, while focusing on strength, balance, and coordination.  Your “young yogi” will learn age appropriate mat poses and movement to music.

In addition these activities, parents may chose to add the following programs to their child’s schedule for an additional fee:

You're A Star Dance

Ms. Sarah Coffman is our dance teacher.  Ms. Sarah teaches children ages 2 and up the basics of ballet and jazz dance in a fun and encouraging environment. She uses games, songs and creative instruction to help each child develop a love for dance and a healthy self-image. She also believes that every child is valuable and talented. Ms. Sarah has an extensive teaching background with children.

Sports Fun

Each Monday, Coach Josh teaches the FUNdamentals of sports in a non-competitive, high energy environment.  Coach Josh is laying the foundation for health and fitness for years to come.

Gymnastics

On Wednesday afternoons we offer FLIPPERS with Coach Adam.  Your child will use a variety of equipment such as bars, beams, and vaults.  This program will encourage your child’s physical abilities to develop more fully.
